Raffaele Massimo Simone

has an extensive experience in Tax Law and M&A. He advises international and national top-clients, supporting them with regard to internal and foreign tax matters. He is actively involved in structuring domestic and international operations in fashion, energy, chemical and real estate industries.

He provides advice to clients dealing with the tax authorities, especially for tax audits, assessments and disputes, preventive agreements (so-called APA) and consultations.

He has also acquired specific expertise in the field of company valuation, drawing of appraisals to support extraordinary transactions (such as transfers of companies / business units and shareholdings, mergers, demergers, etc.), working with leading Italian and foreign corporate groups, often listed.

His significant experience in the tax field has been gained over the years working for paramount International Law and Tax Firms.

He is Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors for some Italian companies belonging to foreign multinationals.

He worked with the Excise and Customs Commission of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Rome and collaborates with the Technical Fiscal and Financial Reporting Standard Committees of the National Association of Administrative and Financial Directors as well as with the International Tax Commission of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan.

He published several articles on Taxes on the main legal newspapers and magazines.

He graduated in Economics from Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan. He attended the Tax Master Program organized by IlSole24Ore Group and the IPSOA International Tax Master Program; he also attended the Milan Cattolica Sacro Cuore University Master Program in Business and Audit Knowledge.
