he deals with cross-border tax transactions (outbound and inbound) and advises companies and institutional investors also in recovering withholding taxes suffered in Italy and abroad (on dividends, interest and royalties) according to double tax treaties and EU directive provisions as well as the Court of Justice of the European Union decisions (CJEU).

He assists foreign investors in tax recovering and represents them before the Italian tax authorities throughout the tax refund procedure and before local tax courts (in case of tax litigation). He regularly speaks at conventions and write articles for specialist journals.

He is legally registered as a certified chartered accountant and statutory auditor. Before joining Plusiders, he worked at KPMG Tax and Legal, and prior to that for two leading law firms.

During his previous professional experience, he was seconded for two years to the KPMG’s EU Tax Centre of focusing on EU tax law topics and in particular dealing with the CJEU decisions impact on Member States’ tax jurisdictions.

He advises his clients in Italian and English.
